About the Author
John Wagner was raised in West Virginia, enjoying glider flying, hunting, and fishing before trying one year of college psychology (that was more for the parents) and becoming a National Registry EMT. He then joined the U.S. Coast Guard and moved to Texas, serving the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean and being a volunteer fireman. After being stationed in Virginia, California, and Florida, he retired as a Radioman in North Carolina. Turn the page: he started his over-the-road truck driving career, driving through all 48 lower states and Canada.
John now lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with his wife Denise and their two rescue dogs: Jerry the Dog (an American Foxhound) and Riley Puppy (a puny Chihuahua). John reads crime, horror, and Coast Guard rescue books. In his free time, he also enjoys canoeing and driving on the beach with his 1981 CJ7 Jeep. He is currently working on another murder novel, which he admits will take him over a year to research and write, so it will be a while.
